How and when do I pay my energy bill? Does Base offer auto-pay? When will I receive my first electricity bill?

Base will notify you via email when your energy bill is due. All members are automatically enrolled in autopay and paperless billing. We do not offer the option to opt out of autopay. We do not offer the option to change your autopay or due date.

After you are charged, you will receive a confirmation email.

Your first energy bill may take up to 40 days after starting service. The bill date depends on when Base receives your first meter reading from the utility.

After your first bill, you'll be billed via email approximately every 30 days, and your payments will automatically process 7 days after each bill is sent to you. You can choose to pay early in the billing tab of your Base Power App.

Your monthly membership fee will be sent as a standalone bill, it is not included on your monthly energy bill.

Your one-time battery installation fee is processed separately using the payment method you provided for the $50 refundable deposit.
