How do I interpret the meter readings at the bottom of my bill? Why are there two meters listed?

Generation Meter Reading: The amount of energy you sent back to the grid. This includes energy from your battery discharging to the grid and any excess solar energy if applicable. Base calculates this by subtracting your last meter reading from your current one.
Consumption Meter Reading: The amount of energy you used from the grid. This includes energy used to power your home and energy Base used (and paid for) to charge your battery. Base calculates this by subtracting your last meter reading from your current one.
